How do I make salmon in the oven?
Place the oven on 200 degrees Celsius Preheat. Wash the tomato and cut it into slices. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Rinse the fish, pat dry, place on 2 large pieces of aluminium foil. Mix the butter with basil pesto in a bowl. Season the salmon fillets with the basil pesto butter mixture and place the tomato slices on top.

Fold the foil into a packet and 12 mins into the oven (depending on the fillet thickness). Cook until the salmon is just opaque and can be easily removed with a fork.
How to pack salmon with aluminium foil for baking?
Pack the salmon fillet onan aluminium foil for baking. The top piece of the foil should be large enough to envelop the salmon so that it is fully enclosed, with a small extra placed over the top like a tent. If you don’t want the salmon to touch the foil while cooking, you can lay it out on the inside with baking paper.
